Most known for playing Dorothy in 'The Wizard of Oz', Judy Garland was a great icon during the 40s and 50s. Whether she was wearing those classic ruby slippers, or just a garment like this one, she always had something stylish on. Famously known as the "Love Goddess", Rita Hayworth brought Spanish flair to the 40s. She was a pin-up girl for several years, but her own personal style was that of a classic and effortless woman. Another 40s actress, Ava Gardner was known as one of the most beautiful women of her day. She had a sexy and classic style, wearing several gorgeous black dresses and diamonds galore. These women are just a few of the classic actresses that I love looking to for inspiration and great wardrobes.
